FILM

Making food look good for the camera, whatever century I am working in, is my super power!

In my world of food styling, one day I'm creating an evening meal for The Bronte family in a Lake District Manor and the next I'm recreating a meal for JFK & Harold MacMillan at the Savoy in 1963.

Creating food that fits, seamlessly into the story being told involved working closely with the production team to ensure that our creations enhance the overall look and feel of the film.

I have an excellent understanding of historical and cultural contexts as well as specific time periods in which film are set. Alongside this knowledge come a range of skills and techniques to ensure that food looks the same for continuity when filming takes place over a period of time.

It's a non stop whirl of food styling and prep working with fabulous people in all sorts of locations. Take a look at some of my recent projects.
